Strategic Entrepreneurship

PESTLE analysis, which is in other words is referred as PEST analysis, is an idea in promoting principles. Also, this idea is utilized as a tool by organizations to track the environment they're working in or are planning to launch another new project/product/service and so on.PESTLE is a mnemonic which in its extended form means P for Political, E for Economic, S for Social, T for Technological, L for Legal and E for Environmental. It gives a superior perspective of the entire condition from a wide range of points that one needs to check and monitor while contemplating on a certain idea/plan.

On 23rd September 2018, Dr Anis has taught us on how to do a strategic plan and template. We created a table of content and all of the information that is required in the assignment. 

The industry that our group has chosen  is logistic. What is  logistics ?             Logistic industry can be defined as the science of obtaining,  producing and distributing material and products to the correct place and in the correct quantities. In a military sense, where it has a greater use, its meaning also includes the movement of personnel. Logistics includes the process of planning, implementing and controlling procedures for the efficient and effective transportation and storage of goods. This includes services and related information from the point of source to the point of consumption for the purpose of fulfilling and conforming to customer requirements. Besides,  logistics industry implies a broader spectrum and refers to the whole ‘flow’ management. This includes not only the transportation and delivery of goods but also the storage, handling, inventory, packaging and various other aspects. ...

                On 29th September 2018, two of our group members which is Yee Weng and Jia en went to Tiong Nam Kota Bharu for an interview session with Mr. Ahmad, the manager of Tiong Nam Logistics Holdings Berhad, branch in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan. Our group chose Tiong Nam because it is  one of the largest total logistics service providers in the Asia-Pacific region, they have forged a proud reputation for efficiency, innovation and service par excellence. Embracing integration has been key to their success, enabling them to grow from a mere transportation business to one that provides total logistics solution.   uding warehousing, customs brokerage, cold room facilities, express delivery as well as crane and heavy tr ansport services
